Technology Solutions Africa Ltd is a privately held company with an established Board of Directors who appoint the Managing Director/CEO. A management and an administrative team has been set up. The Managing Director has signed up several partners and lead consultants in different sectors that we participate in (Telecom, IT, ICT Policy & Strategy, Software Development, Power and Renewable Energy etc). The company also has sales and business development reps in the different markets providing to us consultancy opportunities across Africa. All client projects are led by a dedicated program/project manager who manages a team of employees, contractors and consultants assigned to do the specific tasks.

Dennis MUGWANYA
Founder & Managing Director
Dennis was a seasoned executive at several world-class telecom companies in the United States. He possesses strong technical, business and global sales leadership skills in high technology enterprises in the telecom and IT sectors. He is a well-rounded businessman with special skills in Sales & business development, P&L management of telecommunication and IT companies, running of start-up companies, telecom network product development, product management, technology transfer, new business ventures (business outsourcing, joint-ventures, mergers & acquisitions, technology licensing, contract manufacturing), management of large-scale manufacturing operations etc. He also has a strong technical background as a telecom network systems engineer and developer at AT&T Bell Laboratories & Lucent Technologies (now part of Nokia). Dennis has worked all over the world on expatriate assignments in Asia, Europe, Latin America and SubSaharan Africa. He started TSAfrica in March 2011.

Dr David TURAHI
Partner & Senior Consultant ICT Policy & Strategy
Dr. Turahi David has long experience in development, as well as monitoring and evaluation of implementation of ICT policies, master plans, strategies and regulatory frameworks. Over a period of 16 years, he was a regular Task Team Leader and Technical Advisor to various Task Forces and Teams. He was involved in the development of Uganda’s Rural Communications Development Policy, National ICT Policy, E-Government Policy and Master Plan, National Information Security Strategy, Uganda Broadband Infrastructure Strategy, Cyber Laws and Regulations, E-Waste Management Policy, Strategic Plan and Guidelines, to name but a few.

He has strong capacity to provide technical advice in arears spanning from ICT policy development and support, across carrying out system audits, through Monitoring and Evaluation of implementation of government and institutional ICT programmes, projects and services, building of innovation process partnerships, training of ICT cadre, coordination of ICT strategy between central Government Ministries responsible for ICT and other Ministries, Departments, Agencies and Local Governments, as well as Agency Strategic Planning and supervision of rollout of ICT and E-Government services.

Richard KANYIKE
Partner & Senior Consultant Power & Renewable Energy
Richard Kanyike is an expert in Electrical/Mechanical systems and Renewable Energy Solutions. He is trained as a Power Systems Engineer and has worked on a lot of experience in industrial power system installation projects, Renewable energy(solar) systems installation and maintenance of industrial/agricultural electromechanical systems. He was the First Managing Director of Solar Energy Uganda Ltd and later started another company Sun Energy Solutions Africa Limited.

Richard Kanyike has represented a number of foreign companies in Uganda that supply industrial equipment to technical colleges and universities in Uganda and Rwanda. He was responsible for installation, commissioning and maintenance of these systems for these projects funded by the World Bank and African Development Bank
